I’ve been on my DTS for about 2 months now. WANNA KNOW HOW MANY TIMES MY MOTHERFUCKING EYES HAVE DECIDED TO OOZE OUT OF MY HEAD!? LIKE 6… AT LEAST. It’s not even a contact issue… Maybe it’s tiredness? Either way… THE FUUUUUUUUCK. It’s so damn painful. I’m about to go on outreach tomorrow and if my eyes are being bitches the whole time… HOLD ME BACK. HOLD ME BACK. Shit’s gon’ doooown…

Other than that… God is so good. Just chew on that statement. It’s simple, but dang. God is good. God is real.

I’ve been working on a song for awhile that I finally finished demoing this afternoon called “I’ve a Seat.” It started out as a laid-back acoustic diddle, until T-Paining the hell out of it, at which point it became a whole song that isn’t sure if it wants to be acoustic or electronic. I think I have it done enough to the point that I’m okay releasing into the wild, but I thought it might be fun to give you a look into the process it’s gone through first. Today, I’ll post the original worktape of it, tomorrow the autotuned worktape, followed by the demo the next day.

Thoughts on God as a Father

He’s keeping account of every wrong that’s ever been done to you so that He can make up for every single one of them. He wants to restore everything that has ever been stolen. He wants to heal every single hurt and pain. He sees the longings and desires of your heart, and you can rest assured that behind the scenes He is working things out for your good! I want to remind you today that God is with you. He is on your side. He has your best interest at heart, and He is working to bring restoration and peace to every area of your life. Keep standing, keep believing, and keep doing the right thing because the One who collects your tears will restore every broken place in your life!

Tonight I listened to one of my friends as she described how she is in love with her current boyfriend. They plan to get married. She’s 24 and beautiful. Hearing how their relationship’s purpose is to spread the Gospel and grow in Christ is just lovely. I think love is beautiful; any form of it. 

Don’t give up on love. No matter what kind of pain you have experienced or are experiencing. Don’t give up searching. Keep your head up, your heart ready, and your hope alive.
